COSSA Career Technical Students and COSSA Academy start early, August 14th.

à There is a bus that runs from the school to COSSA and back for Academy and CTE students. Details about bussing and which CTE session (morning or afternoon) you are enrolled in will come out on your schedule on registration day.

à If you signed up for a COSSA CTE program for next year, be ready to complete COSSA registration paperwork if you haven’t already, and be ready to start on August 14th.

Seniors’ should register for upcoming SAT and ACT college entrance exams. These tests are used for college admissions, scholarships, and college class placement. It is important to start taking them early so there is time to retake them as needed throughout the fall.

à August 16th is the registration deadline for the September 14th ACT test. Register at actstudent.org

à September 6th is the registration deadline for the October 5th SAT test. Register at collegeboard.org/mysat

Senior College Night for seniors and their parents is on Monday, September 23rd. This is an opportunity to learn about admissions, financial aid, and major tasks for the school year. This event is helpful for students planning to attend four year, two year, and career technical colleges.


Bruce Mitchell Scholarship Update:
In order to apply for the Bruce Mitchell Scholarship, Parma seniors must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA and test scores of 18 ACT Composite and/or 960 SAT Composite Scores. This test score requirement is new. The Foundation also plans to change their award formula to include overall application, essay, and interviews in determining Bruce Mitchell Awards

Meal Prices for 2019 - 2020 school year have increased from last year. 
Lunch prices are  $2.35 for KG - 4th Grade and 
$2.60 for 5th -12th grade.
Free breakfast will be offered at schools. 

A monthly price list will be on our webpage (http://www.parmaschools.org/food_service) along with the monthly lunch menus. I encourage everyone to fill out a free or reduced price lunch application.  TO RECEIVE FREE OR REDUCED LUNCHES YOU MUST FILL OUT A NEW APPLICATION FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR. We will have a table set up at registration if you would like to make a prepayments or fill out a free or reduced lunch application. The Free and Reduced Application will also be available in the online registration process. 



If you are interested in using a facility in the Parma School District, please fill out the Facilities Use Agreement and turn it into the District Office. If you have any questions, please call the
