Deb Leavitt named 2008 Teacher of the Year

Deborah "Deb" Leavitt was named the 2007-2008 "Teacher of the Year" for the Parma School District. 

Mrs. Leavitt was surprised with the award at the staff picnic on May 29, 2007, presented by Mr. Norton. 

Nominations were received from both staff and students and the Board of Trustees chose this years winner. 

Deb is a highly respected second grade teacher at Maxine Johnson Elementary.  She has taught there for 13 years.
