* PARENT SURVIVAL GUIDES PIT has created a guide full of helpful ideas for parents of our high school students. Survival guides were available at parent-teacher conferences in the fall, but just contact the PHS office if you still need one.

OngoingPIT projects include

1) PHS School Spirit.
2) Parents' Survival Guide.
3) New activities for high school students.
4) Monthly teacher appreciation activities.
5)MonthlyNewsletter to parents.
6) Monthly bulletin board toacknowledge school leaders and students of the month
.

Special recent projects include
Monthly staff appreciation gestures in the form of Random Acts of Kindness. In January it was a clam chowder luncheon served in the high school staff room.
Staff birthdays are recognized each month with a special birthday treat!
Dinner was served to the staff during fall parent-teacher conferences, and plans are made to do the same during the spring conferences.
Events are being planned in conjunction with National Teacher Appreciation Week.
For students, PIT provided pizza and pop at the after-game concert.
Pit has also recently updated the Parents' Survival Guide. Please look for that to appear here soon.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST AND SUPPORT!

Parents Show Support for Teachers in Many Ways

On a cold winter's day...
a piping hot bowl of clam chowder surely hits the spot...
and makes teachers feel warm and appreciated!

And in the midst of a hectic spring, a lovely continental brunch lifts the spirits and touches the hearts of teachers...who LOVE to feel appreciated!
