HOTELS AND HOST FAMILIES :  

• Parents must have the address and phone number of the hotels and/or host families you will be staying with.
• Room phones are not to be used except for emergencies.
• Remember to speak quietly in hotel hallways and avoid disrupting the peace of the other guests.
• Please respect the curfew.

POCKET MONEY & CURRENCY EXCHANGE :

• We recommend that parents give students about $20.00 US in pocket money per day in Europe , Mexico and $15.00 per day in Canada .
• It is best to have travelers checks in small denominations.
• Although everyone will have the opportunity to exchange money during the stay, its always wise to arrive with some local currency for your first expenses.
• You can exchange your money and cash travelers checks in post offices, banks and private exchange bureaus.

LUGGAGE LIMITATIONS FOR ALL TRIPS INVOLVING AIRFARE :

• Checked baggage :
  Each passenger is allowed to travel with one suitcase. The maximum weight of each checked piece: 70 lbs/32 kgs.
   
• Carry-on baggage :
  Each passenger is allowed one piece of carry-on luggage. All items not needed in flight should be checked. Medicine, important papers, and travel documents (passport) should be carried on board by the passenger.
  
  Carry-on luggage must fit underneath the passenger seat or in an overhead compartment. Maximum carry-on dimension is 22" x 14" x 9" (carry-on must fit in carry-on sizing box located at check-in counters). Maximum carry-on weight is 40 pounds.

** Do not pack anything in your suitcase that you may need before your first night in Europe or Mexico

• It is custom to offer your tour escort a $2.00 US tip per day.
• It is custom to offer your bus driver a $1.00 US tip per day.
• Label your suitcase and camera with your name and address.
• The night before departure from the USA , go to bed early and have a good breakfast the next morning!
• Participants are always to be seated as soon as they enter a bus and/or train, so attendance can be taken.
• When the bus driver, Promtour Escort or chaperones give you information, please stop talking, face the front and listen carefully to instructions.
• Please keep your bus clean.
• No matter what the hour or the place; do not hesitate to report any illness or injury to the nearest chaperone or Promtour Escort.
• This is a school trip and school rules do apply.
• All medications should be packed in their original container with a fixed prescription.
